Blend shape and material ?

Hello I need to know how to use blendshape with a texture, here I have a selection on my mesh just on the eyes that stays white, if I activate the blendshape node the selection does not pass anymore. What is the solution to be able to make my blend keeping my polygon salt and texture on it? Thank you

There is a checkbox on the Blendshape node for transferring other attributes. Have you checked them? The material would need to exist before you connect to Blendshape.

Those are the checkboxes I was mentioning. You still have to put your materials “in-line” before you get to the BlendShapes node, or the @shop_materialpath attribute won't exist.

Enivob @arctor: But if you do it that way the materials won't blend, right?You can't blend materials. A material is a string (node path), it doesn't make sense to have an in between value.

But if the material has a texture, UV coordinates can be blended. You would still want to assign materials before the BlendShapes, not after it.
