No node to offset the animation at this context level, and using the expression $FF - x make the switcher not be considered anymore like a camera…. A bug i guess
Did i missed something?
Thanks

Technical Discussion » Triplanar noise wrap uv? A few other question about this node and where is this demo noise wrap hip located shown in this sideFx video demo?

Hi everyone
- Im wondering how i could add a perturbation wrapping noise to the UV generated by the triplanar shader node?
- then , why change the angle doesnät seem to have any effect even when i transport the P to other space than object space?
- Why there are no input texture file in the node?
One last thin, i can not find the hip demo file of the path which will see at 1h30min…. Do you mind to help and tell me where i could find a H16 working file or send me this hip please?

Thanks glad to know despite my relative early experience with this new software in my carrier , it's not the only one…
But so far very much enjoying doing lookdev in houdini, very smart and clever indeed!

Hi everyone!
I can't see any texture input to plug my normal info, why this? the only way i found is to specify the texture location manually, then what about if i want to tile it?
I don't get it, why this texture implementation is not following the same as the other input…
What did i miss?

Thanks
As it etablish a relation between each vertex in space and a corresponding 2d pixel, i thought this was enough to obtain a UV layout as splitted it might looks… I guess im wrong in my understanding what uv map really means mathematically…

Houdini Indie and Apprentice » Help on implementing michael hansmeyer math in Houdini

Hi everyone
I wish i could say im a power user in Houdini and i feel confortable, sadly it's far away since im mostly into art director/concept design , matte painting and lighting but for an art project i would like to implement the work of the amazing architect michael hansmeyer into Houdini.
Im refering to this document and maths, especially the “bezier curve weighting 2” method and the “interpolated weighting”.
It's a great challenge and any help from a houdini gentleman will be greatly appreciated i must say…
Thanks you so much for those who will mind to help
Here s the lecture i was refering, very interesting work and process…
