I am looking for anyone near Berkeley, CA that would be interested in showing me how to shade/light/render an object. I am having some problems getting a simple object lit properly using an HDR image and have some general questions. I can pay $50/hour for about 2 to 4 hours of your time.

Thanks a lot!!

ps just pm me if interested

You know, at the risk of ruining any road trips, you *could* just post what you're doing here and ask for (free) advice. Sometimes, you get more than what you pay for…

Yeah, I appreciate that. But sometimes it is easier to watch someone else do things. Plus, most of my questions are rather noobish and seem like a waste of time for all the talented people on this forum!

I think I should move to Toronto, probably have better luck finding someone.

I think I will convince my g/f to go there for our honeymoon so I can get some training. I hear it is really nice there in August.
