Hi , I looked up around on the forum and didn't find anything about how to import camera datas from my tracker software

I use syntheyes, there's a choice between 2 types of formats, specified for houdini, for camera data export : .clip and .cmd .

I guess thoses datas are supposed to be imported through a node in the camera network or soemthing like that, but I can't find the way to do it.

it would be really helpfull if someone could just explain me the usual way to do it and how I should use the plate video (is it a texture projection on a vertical grid or should I use it as a background, or whathev ; I handle that part pretty well with C4D but I don't really get the logic of houdini for this.)

thank you guys

cheers

or just open the .cmd file generated by syntheyes in a text editor, Select all->Copy then Paste in a Houdini Textport..

Or, just use the main menu … File > Run Script. Pick your .cmd file.
