I admit, I was a bit perplexed. Couldn't use thigmotropism, causing an error, and putting a dent into my plans. Fortunately, it didn't work on the controller or the trunks, but it seemed to somehow work on the branches, so yay ?
(and yes, I looove Art Nouveau. And art déco, too. )
