Just post them here, half the fun is turning it into geometry, and SESI has 2 nice Trees on orbolt you should check out.

To throw in there for fun…. Try making lsys buildings also cool and a great say to get familiarized w rules

if someone wants a good project…
take The Algorithmic Beauty of Plants > http://algorithmicbotany.org/papers/#abop [algorithmicbotany.org]
and translate all the plants to Houdini L-System syntax…maybe a few each week…
and there is a ton of other good stuff on that page.

arghhh… yes, you are right. that book is rather dense, but it seems to be the definitive tome on the subject.

tell you what, i will do a few, if someone else will do a few more.

There are quite a few presets for the L-System node. Not sure if this is what you wanted?

I can also recommend rohan dalvi's Floating Island tutorial series, very good introduction to L-Systems and nice examples!
