Today's Materials Challenge is going to be “Rough” which will be interesting because it feels like a close cousin of “Noise.” Hopefully the creative well will stay strong for two more days.

PS - Anyone aiming for an Iron Man prize: don't forget to download the Photoshop template [www.sidefx.com] to set up the contact sheet for posting to the forum. Sorry to dump this extra work on you near the end but it will be a nice retrospective of your HOULY experience. Shohei added a Houdini-based Sheet Generator - feel free to use that as long as you post a jpg to the forum in the right size (4000x2400pixels)

Went for a fully procedural shader build on everything. Displacement, bump and all.
