I havnt looked at your file but i think you might be able to do this in your volume shader with stylesheets. Theoretically you should be able make an override in your stylesheet that picks up a point instance attribute for density and uses it in the shader.

This is a win10 thing that a lot of people struggle with. Im pretty sure it has noting to do with H actually. I finally managed to fix this by uninstalling and reinstalling H for the Nth time. Have no idea what fixed it this time as ive tried this before. Permissions in my home dir is hunky dory but win10 still messes things up. What i find a little weird is that H wants to write to $HFS even if i havnt told it to. Kind of like a fallback when its not allowed to write to $HOME/documents …

It would be great if the lower left status bar update could be a little more active. Some of the operations (align images and create model for example) can take a really long time and its hard to tell if there is any progress happening.

I have no idea, but if you want to turn it of just switch Surface Type to something else, turn of Reseed, switch back to Narrow Band.

I have to correct my previous post as it seems you can use C:\Program Files\Side Effects Software\Houdini <VERSION>\houdini\python2.7libs\simtracker.py script with Deadline instead of having to set up HQueue. I will try it when i get back to the studio in august.

No luck here either. ZBrush just crashes when i try to send anything from H 16.5.496 to 2018.1
