I can not install houdini10 x64 in my pc .. it stop about 80% done.. when execute: \bin\gfont.exe is running.. Someone can help me?

There seems to be no speed difference between Dual core and Quad core PCs and the CPU usage is 50+% for Dual core and 25+% for Quad core.

Certain aspects of the Fluid Solvers are multi-threaded some aren't, a simple test will reveal this. My dual core machine will jump between 80% usage and 50% usage during a heavy sim.

I think size of the simulation also matters. Multi-threading introduces its own overhead, so it won't be turned on if Houdini thinks that it will be faster doing it single threaded.

SideFX team from croatia ? I am from slovenia, can you tell me more about that ? It is great to know that you guys are helping in development of greatest piece of software ever devised.

There should have been a comma in there somewhere. Like “,from Croatia”, meaning congrats from Croatia to sidefx team in North America…



Not that I wouldnt be happy to be part of the SideFX team in some role or another…

Back to the topic, H10 IPR rocks hard.

I tryed h10 today. If i was autodesk or virtually any other 3d software developing company, i would close the business.
