Houdini 22.0 Nodes APEX nodes

Continue

Continues to the next loop iteration, skipping the remaining nodes in the current iteration.

Since 22.0

When the condition port is set to True, the innermost loop’s remaining nodes are skipped, and execution continues with the loop’s next iteration. When the jump occurs, the values of the Continue node’s spare ports are copied to the matching ports of the loop’s End node (as well as to the matching ports of any IfEnd nodes traversed along the way). If the loop has not ended, the spare ports of the Begin node are updated with the matching ports of the End node, and then execution continues with the loop’s next iteration. When the condition port is set to False, a jump does not occur, and the values pass through the spare ports unaffected.

Inputs

condition: Bool

When true, the innermost loop continues execution at the beginning of the loop’s next iteration. The default value is True.

__spare__

When condition is True, the values of the node’s spare ports are copied to the matching ports of its End nodes. If the loop has not ended, the spare ports of the Begin node are subsequently updated with the matching ports of the End node.

Outputs

__spare__

When condition is False, passes through the values for use in downstream loop nodes.
