Houdini 22.0 Nodes APEX nodes

FrameEnd

Creates an input node with a port to get the global end frame.

Since 22.0

This node is an alias for an Input node with a port whose value is set to the global end frame. The port’s value (the global end frame) is automatically set by an APEX scene whenever the scene is evaluated - when the animate state is active on an APEX Scene Animate SOP, or when the scene is being evaluated by an APEX Scene Invoke SOP. The global end frame is intended to be used by character rigs.

By default, the port name for the global end frame is FRAMEEND. You can modify this port name by setting the frameend_input detail property on the graph (using an Attribute Adjust Dictionary SOP, for example). If the frameend_input property already exists on the graph, the newly-added Input node’s port name will be set to this property.

Outputs

FRAMEEND: Float

The global end frame.
