Karma Tangent Rotate VOP node

Rotates world-space tangents for anisotropic shaders like brushed metal.

Rotates the surface tangents of an object, for use in anisotropic materials such as brushed metal.

Parameters

Amount

Float values specifying how rotate to apply to the tangent. This input is multiplied internally by 360, so values of 0-1 are typical.

Tangent

Surface tangent to be rotated. Defaults to the world-space surface tangent if not connected.

Axis

The axis vector, about which tangent is rotated by the amount. Defaults to the world-space surface normal if not connected.
