Feather Uncondense geometry node

Expands the virtual barbs on feather curves to real curve primitives.

The Feather Uncondense operator is used to expand the virtual barbs on feather curves to real curve primitives. It takes feather curves as input and generates separate curve primitives for each individual barb.

Parameters

General

Group

The group of feather curves to uncondense. Only the curves in this group will be present in the output.

Create Normalized UV

Create a normalized UV attribute on the uncondensed curves. If enabled, a UV attribute will be generated, mapping the length of each feather segment to the range /nodes/sop/0, 1.html.

Normalized UV Attribute

The name of the normalized UV attribute to be created on the uncondensed curves when the Create Normalized UV parameter is enabled.

Curves

Create Disconnected Barbs

Create disconnected barb curves. When enabled the first vertex of barb curves will not be attached to the corresponding shaft curve point.

Output Groups

Create Barb Group(s)

Specifies whether to create groups for barbs.

Left Barbs Group

The name of the group to add left barbs to.

Right Barbs Group

The name of the group to add right barbs to.

Create Shaft Group

Specifies whether to create a group for the shaft.

Shaft Group

The name of the group to add the shaft to.

Attribute and Group Copy

Primitive Attributes

Primitive attributes to copy from the feather primitives to the generated surfaces.

Primitive Groups

Primitive groups to copy from the feather primitives to the generated surfaces.

Point Attributes

Point attributes to copy from the feather primitives to the generated surfaces. Any regular (non-barb) attributes will be copied to all the points of a barb growing from that point.

Point Groups

The point groups to copy from the feather primitives to the generated surfaces. Group membership will be copied to all the points of a barb growing from each point.

Barb Attributes

Barb attributes to transfer to the surface points.
