Labs Export UV Wireframe 1.0 geometry node

Exports a UV wireframe image for use in external texturing workflows.

This node renders the UV layout of the input geometry to an image file.

The node supports UDIM UV layouts and will automatically render a separate wireframe image for each UDIM tile when the geometry spans multiple tiles.

Tip

Include the <UDIM> token in the output file name when exporting UDIM layouts so that each tile is written to a separate image.

Parameters

Wireframe

Thickness

Thickness of the rendered UV wireframe lines.

Units

The unit of measurement used to determine the size of the rasterized curve width.

Color

Color used for the UV wireframe lines.

Opacity

Opacity of the rendered wireframe lines. Lower values make the wireframe more transparent.

UV Islands

Color from Attribute (Cd)

Uses the Cd color attribute from the geometry to color the UV wireframe instead of the specified UV islands color.

Color

Color applied to UV islands.

Opacity

Opacity of the UV island fill color. This can be used to lightly tint UV islands beneath the wireframe.

Background

Color

Background color used when transparent background is disabled.

Use Transparent Background

Renders the UV wireframe with a transparent background instead of a solid color.

Output

Output File

File path where the UV wireframe image will be written.

When exporting UDIM layouts, the filename should include a UDIM token such as <UDIM>.

Resolution

Output image resolution in pixels.

Choose Resolution

Provides preset image resolutions for convenience.

Render

Saves the UV wireframe image to the specified output file.
