APEX Scene Add Camera geometry node

Adds a camera to an animation scene.

This SOP adds a camera primitive to a new or existing APEX animation scene.

Tip

If you want to add multiple cameras to an animation scene, use an APEX Scene Add Camera SOP for each camera.

Note

This node is automatically created when selecting the New Camera option from the camera/light menu in the animate state.

Parameters

Camera Rig

Camera Type

The type of rig that comes with the camera.

Basic

The camera rig has a single transform control for the camera.

Look At

The camera rig has a look at target for the camera.

Look At + Up

The camera rig has a look at target as well as an up control to control the camera tilt.

Add Root

When turned on, adds a root control to the camera rig.

Ragdoll

When turned on, allows the camera to be used in the animate state ragdoll tool.

Color

The color of the ragdoll collision shape. This is purely cosmetic.

Character Scene

The animation scene (in a character folder structure) that the camera is added to.

Camera

The camera primitive to add to the animation scene.

Outputs

Character Scene

The animation scene with the added camera.
