APEX Scene Merge geometry node

Merges characters and animations from SOPs or input geometry into an animation scene.

This node merges multiple characters and animations from SOPs or input geometry, and outputs an animation scene with the merged inputs. The scene is a character folder structure.

Parameters

Active Clip

Sets the active clip of the scene after merging all the animation clips. Leave this empty to keep to input scene’s active clip.

Merges

The number of merge operations.

Mode

Specifies the source of the animation to merge from.

From Input Scene

Use the input scene. If the second input isn’t connected, the first input is used.

From SOPs

Use one or more SOP paths defined by SOPs Pattern.

SOPs Pattern

When Mode is set to From SOPs, this is the path to one or more SOP nodes.

From

The APEX scene path to copy from.

To

The APEX scene path to copy to.

Copy Character

When turned on, the .char folders are copied.

Copy Animation

When turned on, the .clip folders are copied.

Rename Animation

When copying animation clips, defines how to rename the clips. The {} token is replaced with the original clip name.

The animation scene to modify.

APEX Scene to Merge

The animation scene to merge from.

Outputs

Merged APEX Scene

The merged animation scene.
