Labs UV Visualize 2.0 geometry node

Visualizes UV layouts directly on geometry.

This node projects a UV test pattern onto geometry to help inspect UV layouts, orientation, distortion, seams, and island organization.

Visualization textures can be generated procedurally using the Labs UV Grid Texture COP or loaded from an external image file.

Additional visualization options allow UV islands and seams to be highlighted directly on the geometry, making the node useful for UV validation, look development, and texture-authoring workflows.

Parameters

Group

Primitive group to visualize. Leave empty to visualize all geometry.

UV Attribute

UV attribute used for texture projection and visualization.

Texture Source

Source used to generate the visualization texture.

Procedural Grid: Generates a UV test pattern using the Labs UV Grid Texture COP.

Number of texture repetitions within each UV tile.

Resolution

Resolution of the generated texture.

Grid Divisions

Number of subdivisions within each UV tile.

Background Color

Background color of the generated texture. Available only when Add Rounded Corners is enabled.

Tiles

Coloring Mode

Method used to color UV tiles.

Uniform: Uses a single color for all tiles.

Checker: Alternates between two colors.

Gradient: Uses a color ramp.

Uniform Color

Color used when Coloring Mode is set to Uniform.

Checker Color 1

First color used for checkerboard tiles.

Checker Color 2

Second color used for checkerboard tiles.

Color Gradient

Color ramp used when Coloring Mode is set to Gradient.

Add Tile Outlines

Adds outlines around UV tiles.

Outline Width

Width of the tile outlines.

Outline Color

Color of the tile outlines.

Add Rounded Corners

Adds rounded corners on UV tiles.

Corner Radius

Radius of the tile corner rounding.

Markers

Marker Type

Marker displayed within each UV tile.

Text: Displays text labels.

Cross: Displays cross markers.

Arrow: Displays directional arrows.

Text Mode

Text displayed when Marker Type is set to Text.

Letters & Numbers: Displays alphanumeric identifiers.

Coordinates: Displays tile coordinates.

Font

Font used for text markers.

Marker Size

Size of the markers.

Coloring Mode

Method used to color markers.

Uniform: Uses a single color.

Checker: Alternates between two colors.

Gradient: Uses a color ramp.

Marker color used when Coloring Mode is set to Uniform.

Checker Color 1

First checker marker color.

Assigns a unique color to each UV island.

Show UV Seams

Highlights UV seams on the geometry by generating a cylindrical mesh.

Width of the cylindrical mesh used for visualizing the seams.

Seam Color

Color used for seam visualization.

World-Space Projection

Unwraps and projects the mesh in world space to match its UV space.

Blend

Blends the projection from object to world space.
